So, funny story from yesterday.
I baked a cake! And the inside was blue! Yes, the inside was blue from somewhere between twenty minutes and two hours. When we cut the cake for the big reveal (my family did not yet know) what was inside but….brown! A rich buttery brown, honey-tinged and decidedly warm. But not a hint of blue.
Why would this happen? What sinister chemistry caused this metamorphosis?
The evening was nonetheless joyful. As was today. Life is many-colored, and mornings are blessed with bright blue skies.
and tonight we rest to a Jason Statham marathon.
