Brisk fall wind steals through our windows, mingling with the cool sunlight to hint at the icy brilliance that will be the norm in a few short months. Autumn arrives with a bite just hard enough to warrant an extra layer and a tomato bisque.
Our Sunday began as usual, with prayer and quiet company then a trip to the grocery store. Sunflowers were on sale, so now they grace our window. The bisque is simmering and I ready myself for tutoring. Today: derivatives and more geometry postulates.
We hope to bike over to mom and dad’s for H’s tutoring, but we’ll see if the weather holds. The chance of rain is real, and no one likes a soggy seat.
Our home, full of light, is sweet today. Love bursts from our hearts and seems to coat the very air. Even boom is keeping her little growls in a major key. It’s a good, good day. It’s a wonderful life.
